As a direct result of the properties and consistency of the Lignite Powder our system produces, this has opened doors on many fronts, previously put on hold, due to the economic restraints on producing product / powder of this nature at scale.

There is further a global shortage of “traditional fertilisers” such as Urea, Map and Dap, and the costs of same are astronomical!

La Trobe Valley lignite on its own has a high Humic Acid content and is perfect for increasing Soil Organic Carbon (SOC). 

The ecosystem services provided by SOC are tangible and undisputed. Soil carbon is generally agreed to improve potential yields, through improved nutrient supply and water availability, increased ion exchange capacity, the ability to retain nutrients within the root zone, improved soil structure and porosity, and increased biological activity.

Proven research has shown that when “traditional fertilisers” are blended with lignite, you firstly reduce the amount of these fertilisers needed (thus reducing costs), without reducing crop yields, obtain the benefits of SOC, and, the blended products are more environmentally friendly!

As such, we will shortly be launching AHRGRO, who will be a supplier of “semi” organic and “certified “organic blended fertilisers.

Our powder can also be used for emission reductions in intensive farming operations, (again proven research), with the potential to produce pure, hi-nutrient fertilisers from these waste streams.
